  1. The Department has sophisticated, well-equipped labs. It has also permanent, wellqualified, and well-experienced staff.
  2. The Department takes care of the holistic development of the students.
  3. To enhance the technical skills of the students the labs are open throughout the year. It is striking to note that the services can be utilized even beyond the regular college timings.
  4. The department library has a very good collection of books, CD’s and video lectures.

Opportunities Of The Depatrement:

With the Institutional support to chalk out many academic initiatives, the department has many opportunities to develop further.

  1. In the private sector, IT students have many opportunities to secure better placements.
  2. There is a dearth for a research center which can develop and cater to the demands / needs like developing Research Projects.
  3. Imparting technical and inter- personal skills to the students.
  4. Producing computer professionals who can face not only the present but also future challenges of IT industry.
  5. Providing IT base solutions to the society to produce skilled professionals in computer applications.
