Career Guidance & Placements

 

The Placement Cell of the Pedanandipadu College of Arts and Sciences was started in the Academic Year 2015 – 16 for the benefit of the students. And it takes up the steps for informing about the opportunities of placement, and trains the students suitably to get employed. Primary objective of the cell is to provide the much needed life skills to students and help them to find job placements.


 Vision: 

“To employ the rural students in the suitable positions”

Mission: 

  • To explore the possibilities of finding the opportunities for placements in industries, firms and other business organizations.
  • To inform the students about the notifications and make them to respond promptly.
  • To contact the placement cells of the other colleges, universities and JKCs for campus drives, and campus recruitments.
  • To work in collaboration with APSSDC and other organizations.

Objectives:  The rural students mostly belong to the families with little education and illiterate background. They lack the advantage of getting sufficient information about the job opportunities if they are left to search for the opportunities for themselves. In this competitive world it will be a big loss for them to lose time, energy and money in finding jobs. In this context, the guidance to make them employable by providing the necessary information is very essential to their professional life.  Hence the Placement Cell fulfils the necessary need for them in this regard.
